Rhombus was established in 1978, with a focus on serving the needs of industrial and academic customers using some of the first robotic equipment and computer systems in the world.

Since then the team has expanded to cover all aspects of business IT, such as Servers, Networks and Desktop workstations.

Network Support

Our team of qualified Microsoft Engineers can provide 24/7 support for your network hardware and software. Our maintenance covers every aspect of your network and ensures that any problems are dealt with in a fast and professional manner.

Where hardware is found to be faulty, it will be replaced immediately and configured correctly to work as before. Where a workstation develops a software fault, we will swap-out the machine with one of same or better specification the same day - correctly configured with the necessary software.

Hardware Provision

Servers, Workstations, Network Cabling - we can provide, install, configure and maintain every part of your network - whether for a new build or to upgrade or develop existing infrastructure. Rhombus will work with you and your staff to ensure smooth integration of any new devices or cabling.

The Rhombus team are experts in all Microsoft Servers, Operating Systems and Applications, as well as applications such as Sage, Quickbooks, PhotoShop, CorelDraw, 3D Studio, Lightwave and the full range of products from Adobe, Symantec, GFi, & Macromedia.

Software Development

We have over 25 years experience developing software for our clients. These have ranged from stock control systems to academic management systems and medical databases.

Our development team has a vast experience with software technologies dating back decades, and we currently focus our development work on Microsoft .NET technologies - C# and Visual Basic, with SQL Server database back-ends.
